My Journey (in a nutshell): 🗺️ 2011: I left school to travel and discovered my passion for connecting with people while working as a travel agent. 💡 2014: Back in school pursuing HR, I started organizing Startup Weekends and realized that matching people to opportunities (whether jobs or ideas) was as exciting as selling vacations. 🚀 2017: I joined my dream tech company, helping scale its team from 300 to 800+ employees. This experience ignited my passion for fast-paced, high-growth environments. 🤿 2019: My wanderlust took me to Florida, where I worked as a tech recruiter while scuba diving every weekend. 👩🏻‍💻 2021: Back in Canada, I thrived in the chaos of startup life at a remote FinTech and security startup, tackling challenges daily. 🔝 2022: I launched Toparo Talent, turning my employer into my first client. Where Am I Now? Today, I’m blending two passions: 1. Helping companies scale their teams faster and more effectively through premium TaaS solutions. 2. Exploring and promoting coworking and coliving spaces worldwide to inspire remote workers and digital nomads to mix work with ocean adventures (surfing, spearfishing, and scuba diving—DareSea).
