I am a degree-qualified Economist MSc (Econ) with 5 languages and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) from University of Chichester and a QTS in Mathematics, currently working as Economics Teacher in Barton Peveril Sixth Form College teaching A-levels. I have over 4 years’ industrial experience in Oil & Gas commerce and finance on multi-billion projects, where I acquired skills of project and contract management and knowledge of various Economics software, with excellent transferrable quantitative and analytical skills. Taking the lead role has allowed me to develop an excellent skills base including: commercial negotiation, financial modelling, contractual review, budgeting, financial and performance improvement management. As a Founder and Executive Director of Homework Help (UK) Ltd. I have acquired the essential entrepreneurial skills, e.g. team work, client interface, business development, HR, finance and external communications where I was solely responsible for running a business of upto 20 consultant- tutors. During my MSc at University of Aberdeen, I have acquired knowledge of various Economics software (incl. SPSS, eViews, Crystal Ball etc.), extensive understanding of economic theories and quantitative skills, particularly with natural resources (e.g. oil & gas, renewable energies etc.). My MSc thesis was in Real Options, developing an offshore gas field in Australia which went beyond the usual DCF approach, outlining various options to abandon, defer and develop using Black-Scholes model.
