I spent years developing my grit, technology knowledge and communication skills as a salon owner, Realtor, Insurance Agent, Flooring Specialist and security captain to a team of 6. I realized the opportunities are greater in tech sales and spent the last month devouring an intensive online technology sales development course. My required reading included "How to Win Friends and Influence People", "Fanatical Prospecting" and "S.P.I.N Selling". I have learned skills needed in this field such as: researching ideal customer profiles, ideal buyers persona, cold outreach with software engagement platforms such as Hubspot Sales, Salesloft and Outreach and running discovery calls using SPIN and BANT. I am confident in my abilities to become a strong member of any sales team, As a black woman in tech, I believe I possess the diversity and culture that speak volumes to other companies as of the integrity of any company that I am employed. I am prepared to get started as a sales development rep by applying the skills I have learned over the past few months submerged, applying and aggressively studying and role playing.
