My focus in this position was to review and optimise the end-to-end business processes and technology. The business relies on public image and was well overdue a refresh. Together with the Head of Marketing the branding was overhauled, the website modernised and rewritten, and a social media strategy implemented. We also reviewed the CRM system making several technical and process improvements. The sales department processes were reviewed with minor tweaks required. A full review of the pricing matrix was undertaken and implemented. The product delivery departments were reviewed, along with contracts, and improvements implemented where appropriate, specifically to payment processing systems. The accounting systems were reviewed, updated and integrated to the CRM. Further improvements to streamline the CRM system were identified and agreed for future development with the supplier.

Provided a SQL Developer role for a major project, migrating core legacy systems into SAP 

Responsible for the extraction, transformation and load of data from multiple systems into SAP via a SQL Landing database using SSIS to control all aspects including extraction, transformation, data quality checks, reconciliation reporting and final extraction into loading process.

With an IT career spanning more than 20 years I have a wide range of experience in many IT areas. I am solution oriented and my interest in business improvement coupled with my technical skills enable me to take a business problem and engineer an end-to-end technical, process oriented or combined, solution as appropriate. The skills in my tool kit range from customer facing and consultative roles through to highly technical database administration. My certifications include ITIL, Microsoft SQL Server and project management.
