After successfully running a recruitment business for over 16 years, I made a decision in 2020 to embark on a new venture. This decision was driven by my desire to make a positive impact and now try and help people with drive and ambition to start their own business, as I have. My main role within the group is to provide vision, leadership and to help expand our business across the UK and beyond. Our mission is driven by ambition, as we strive to enhance the industry's reputation by redefining norms and placing a primary focus on the character of individuals. While performance remains important, we believe it takes a secondary role in comparison. I strongly adhere to the principles of simplicity and authenticity, taking inspiration from the visionary approach of business genius Steve Jobs, who made technology accessible and user-friendly. Similarly, at its core, recruitment should revolve around the fundamental goal of matching the right person with the right job, yet so many people want complete this simple process. I’ve faced a number of commercial set backs in my career, which were of course extremely painful at the time. However, looking back they have gave me incredible insight into how not to do things. In short, I needed to change and these experiences taught me the true value of understanding and appreciating people, as they are our most valuable asset. As a result of this fundamental mindset change, I now use this experience to help people to not make the same mistakes as I did.
