Hi, I’m Darren! Co-Founder of THE community for LinkedIn brand builders - Brand Built 🤜🤛. But that wasn’t always the case. In 2008, I started a business – MASS Communications – and was lucky enough to scale it to 50+ employees. But from the day I started, I had dreamed that one day I’d be able to sell it. - I’d become rich. - Be able to buy a big house and a car. - But most of all, retire and live a happy life. In 2018, that dream became a reality when I sold the business to Windstream Enterprise for $40 million. It was supposed to be the greatest day of my life, but it was the beginning of a dark few years. I was lost, confused, and not sure who I was anymore. Then, in 2022, a friend convinced me to begin sharing my story on LinkedIn. At first, I got a few likes. Then, I got a few followers. Next minute, I was getting clients. In just 6 months, I grew from 7 → 15,000 followers here. But more importantly, I found a tribe of people on a similar mission. It was at this point Nat Berman & I brought our brains together to create a one-stop community for all things business & branding. Today, that community has 110+ successful brand builders collaborating and working together to build their brands.
