I make Epicor ERP10 and Kinetic ERP software fit your business more exactly. If you don’t know what that is, don’t worry. You don’t need me – you’d know if you did. I am also good at more general work around databases, data analysis, custom Excel and a few other things, but apparently there are fewer people out there helping with Epicor independently, so that’s what I mostly do. And I am independent. I’m not going to sell you Epicor solutions, or get into a debate about whether it’s right for you. If you have an Epicor ERP, you’re using it and not going to change, THEN I can help. Beyond getting it configured correctly for your needs (which I recommend Epicor’s own Professional Services division for), there’s a big difference between an ERP which does the basics and one that really helps your business do what your business does best. And Epicor provide all the tools you need to make that happen … but probably even your dedicated support staff are too busy to do it, or to learn everything they need, or gather the strategic experience to know what will work without turning the system into a custom nightmare. Especially at upgrade time. If you have - A process that the standard system can’t capture properly - Another system that needs to communicate with the ERP, such as a website, a CRM, a WMS or something more specialised - Data that people need to see more clearly - Repetitive tasks that ought to be automated away - Things that should happen, but aren’t because people won’t use the system properly - Old efforts to solve these problems that are now dragging you down … then I can help. You know best what you need to achieve, so I won’t push you into a prepared solution. The best solution results from a deep understanding of the way your business works, leveraging the way the system works rather than overriding it. And that solution should be standalone so that your existing staff are happy with it without needing to call me back, too. That’s vital. I’d far rather you call me back because you have an idea for an awesome new improvement than because you need me to keep what you have functioning.
