Welcome to my LinkedIn page! I am a Final Year Psychology undergraduate at NTU. I took up this major as I have always been interested in human behavior and interaction. During my time in the Singapore Police Force, I learnt many crucial soft skills. These include effective communication, people management, as well as being unflappable amongst other skills. Hence, I learnt how to effectively handle situations and make key decisions even in stressful environments, and how to work well in a team to accomplish goals and tasks. Over the course of my studies, I developed an interest in specializing in Social and Organizational Psychology. As such, I am keen in pursuing a career in Human Resources after graduation. Specifically, my passion lies in Talent Development and Engagement, as I find the experience of helping guide employees to become the best versions of themselves to be a very rewarding one. I am a strong believer in the constant pursuit of improving oneself throughout one's life journey, and I believe I can learn a lot from those I guide as well - learning goes both ways! Moving forward, I hope to pursue opportunities in Talent Development, Engagement and Management fields of Human Resource. I look forward to connecting with other like-minded individuals and professionals in this field to share and exchange ideas, and I would also love to find mentors who are able to give me expert advice in this field.
