Responsible for leading a global team to design, select and procure an outsourced private cloud hosted Microsoft based email / collaboration service for all 27 operating companies in the RSA Group as a strategic replacement for the legacy decentralised Notes based infrastructure. 

Responsible for key elements of the subsequent service implementation including
- operational service design and delivery
- software licensing
- global and in-country networks readiness
- finances and commercials.
 
Responsibility for implementing a common approach to global software procurement across RSA.

Achievements include - 

- Unanimous financial endorsement from in scope RSA business units to the collaboration service
- Delivery of the live collaboration service
- Implementation of a Global Service Organisation team to manage global infrastructure
- Establishment of global software licensing agreements
- Delivery, enhancement and extension of existing infrastructure services

Group Infrastructure Leader

Responsible for managing Corporate Centre IT function to meet IT needs of the Group Head Office of 400+ users. 

Additionally responsible for leading a Groupwide team of highly skilled individuals and IT Service suppliers to deliver and develop a high quality global IT Infrastructure. 

Contributed knowledge, expertise and leadership to the creation and implementation of a Long Term IS Strategy for RSA.

Achievements include - 

- Definition and implementation of new Target Operating Model for Corporate Centre IT function
- Consistent delivery of excellent deskside IT services 
- Completion of numerous infrastructure development projects delivering improved performance, flexibility, resilience, security and cost.
 - Successful delivery of the Long Term IS Strategy Global Reseller project. 
- Improved both performance and capacity of the Global Data Network

Head of Technology Services

Responsible for the identification and scoping of opportunities to deliver performance, function and cost improvements to the Group’s IT infrastructure and then leading multiple initiatives and projects to deliver on the identified opportunities. 

Responsible for provision of Group oversight and governance of IT delivery for all 20 Operating Companies in the International Region.

Achievements include -

- successful completion of an Infrastructure Opportunities Assessment initiative 
- completion of the Global Telecoms programme resulting from the Infrastructure Opportunities Assessment initiative delivering 
    - a new global data network
    - a single regional Latin America data network
    - a global remote access service
    - a European mobile supplier agreement
    - a global Email Hygiene service for all RSA users 
    - an IP Telephony service for the Scandinavia region.
- Design, implementation and operation of an IT KPI and metrics scorecard process to ensure consistent and meaningful reporting of IT issues, progress and activity across all the Group Operating Companies on a monthly basis.
- Delivery in association with IT architects of a 3 year IS Strategy and associated Group IS Environment target architecture.
