Dave has considerable experience developing and operating rock quarries and aggregate operations in remote and primitive conditions. Dave has spent a good deal of time in the seat, as well as supervising the work of larger bulldozers and excavators,starting projects, building right-of way, mass grading and surface mining. Dave has worked and supervised the approved construction, removal and replacement of wetlands, vernal pools and endangered species habitat. Many projects that Dave has worked on have turned out to become design build, with changes, engineering, and Agency negotiation having to be performed and justified in the field. Often times field design changes become value engineering for the client as well as the parent Agency.
