As an experienced IT executive, self-proclaimed "recovering mistake-maker," and CTO at an MSP, Strategic Information Resources, I've built a rewarding career transforming technology challenges into successes (with minimal casualties along the way). Driven by gratitude for the opportunities I've had, I actively give back through mentorship and by helping to lead cybersecurity initiatives at GTIA, guiding professionals to sidestep pitfalls I've personally tested (so you don’t have to). As chair of GTIA’s Cybersecurity Taskforce and a key contributor to the GTIA Cybersecurity Trustmark, my mission is to help businesses, especially small ones, stay secure in a world where hackers don’t take days off. I work to educate professionals and organizations on how to protect themselves from cyber threats, translating complex security concepts into practical, actionable steps. Whether mentoring MSPs, helping businesses strengthen their defenses, or fostering industry collaboration, I believe cybersecurity isn’t just about technology—it’s about people, awareness, and staying one step ahead of the bad guys. At the end of the day, my goal is simple: make cybersecurity approachable, help businesses avoid preventable disasters, and maybe crack a joke or two along the way.
