I founded Strictly Workforce Planning in March 2023 after spending over 30 years developing systems and teams devoted to the delivery of data, reporting and analytics, the last 17 years focused on delivering people analytics and strategic workforce planning in both London and Sydney. In all my roles I have found myself involved with workforce planning, whether intentionally through working directly in HR or unintentionally by working on projects to deliver business process re-engineering or designing new services to improve customer and employee experience. In 2012 I relocated to Australia to take up a role with Commonwealth Bank of Australia where I led the team to win two CEO awards for delivering innovative solutions in people analytics. I've been fortunate to have spoken at several conferences and have run strategic workforce planning masterclasses across Australia, Europe, and the USA. In 2022 I was thrilled to deliver the strategic workforce planning masterclass at One Young World in the UK, a conference that brings together 2,000+ of the brightest young leaders from around the world. I delivered the strategic workforce planning programme for Transport for New South Wales and in my last corporate role I was Director of Workforce Planning at Pearson plc (after the acquisition of Faethm AI) where I set up the strategic workforce planning function from scratch, implemented a structured methodology underpinned by six detailed playbooks and provided hands-on practical coaching to allow clients to start their strategic workforce planning journey in a sustainable way. I have helped many global organisations take their first steps into strategic workforce planning, in a range of industries including government, finance, insurance, mining, retail, food and beverage. My latest interests revolve around how to integrate AI into the workforce analytics required to deliver SWP and using Job Architecture to enable companies to understand the skills they have before they start trying to figure out what skills they will need. Very happy to have forged alliances with @Mindstone in the UK to deliver dedicated AI training and @ADamnGoodChoice here in Australia to deliver bespoke job architecture and job family frameworks.
