Stella built solutions for improving customer service, both for retailers online and in-store. I led the development team for Stella Metrics, Stella’s data collection and visualization SaaS platform:

- Managed multi-disciplinary onshore and offshore teams to outline project plans, and agree on process to ensure project completion. Mentored teammates.
- Partnered with our Product team to review product roadmaps and articulate the next features to build. Added detail to user stories to make them estimable by the tech team.
- Managed sprints from start to finish. Created team dashboards (using JIRA Agile) to showcase current development progress, burndown charts, deliverables, and KPIs.
- Groomed backlog to remove stale and duplicate user stories.
- Integrated tools and processes to increase team efficiency. Optimized our JIRA issue tracker and Confluence wiki. Ran regular retrospectives for continuous improvement.
- Triaged incoming bugs and product requests. Followed-up with stakeholders on bug mitigation plans. Troubleshooted bugs with both employees and external clients.
- Communicated project status via emails and blog posts.
- Resource planning, forecasted team velocity against project schedules.

ICON Philadelphia was a non-profit that worked to unite Asian Americans in the Philadelphia tri-state area through professional and social events. I was responsible for their operations and marketing:

- Increased our community service involvement, and partnered with non-profit organizations with similar goals of strengthening the Asian American community.
- Coordinated social and community service events, handling event logistics like marketing and rate negotiation with venues.
- Leveraged social media to expand active membership.
- Managed ICON's IT infrastructure (Google Workspace, mailing list) and online properties (Facebook, mostly).

Operations and Marketing Manager

Institute for Integrative Nutrition

IIN is a nutrition school that provides an online learning platform for its students. I led our Student Dashboard learning management system team:

- Defined and ranked product roadmap user stories. Incorporated business stakeholder input, app usage statistics, and student feedback.
- Managed onshore and offshore development, QA, and design teams. Managed sprints from start to finish. Ran retrospectives.
- Fostered adoption of Agile Scrum process in the Tech and Education teams. Wrote and maintained training documentation. Trained staff on process.
- Researched and implemented Jira Core and Confluence apps to augment team collaboration (Team Calendar) and facilitate time reporting (Tempo Timesheets) for contractors and FTEs.

- Gathered requirements from the business to document backlog items, queuing the items with our development team for later execution. Provided project status to management. Escalated priority blockers to management.

TMP develops talent acquisition technologies. I was the PM for JD, a tool to automate the posting of a single job post to hundreds of job boards viewed by millions of job seekers:

- Fostered adoption of Agile Scrum in Tech and Product teams to optimize work between teams.
- Migrated the team onto Jira Core to increase collaboration. Piloted other tools - including MediaWiki - to measure benefits and impacts, sharing best practices across the company.
- Managed onshore and offshore development and QA teams. Facilitated daily scrums, regular retrospectives, documented project decisions, and ensured the team had what they needed to meet project milestones.
- Removed team impediments, identifying, tracking, elevating risks and mitigation plans up the chain.
Coordinated JD production releases, and maintenance releases for partner products.

Lockheed Martin

Lockheed Martin is a major American defense contractor. I worked with teammates worldwide in analysis, design, development, and support roles:

- Operations & Maintenance Lead for a decision-making software suite. Held weekly meetings to reduce our defect count, maintained a SharePoint site, groomed our backlog. Defined a defect reporting process for client users.
- Business Analyst for an executive dashboard project. Documented user stories, annotated wireframes, demonstrated prototypes.
- Information Architect for Unity, a company-wide knowledge management suite encompassing wikis, blogs, and social bookmarking. Drafted wireframes, conducted user research, QA, evangelized the product to increase company adoption.
- Backend Operations Support and IT Liaison for our intranet portal. Updated training documentation, worked with Communications department to promote features and develop branding. Trained and coached users on portal use best practices. Troubleshooted client issues, coordinated between departments to communicate issues.
- Information Architect for the CIO organization's web team. Employed UI design patterns to reduce development time. Drafted wireframes to illustrate client requirements.
- Content Management System Developer for the CIO organization's web team. Supported a migration from Vignette portal to SAP portal. Trained and coached users on how to use our CMS.
