I am an entrepreneur with over 25 years of hands-on technology and leadership experience. I have been blessed with the opportunity to work in executive positions at beloved brands like Fila, Polo Ralph Lauren, IBM, Microsoft, as well as advertising agencies like Ogilvy, Razorfish, Havas. I have advised and grown startups like GiGXR, Skillshare, WaterBobble, Bride Click, Cynthia Byrnes, Daily Makeover, and countless others. I have seen successes, failures, and everything in between. What I can say I approach challenges with integrity and responsibility. My knowledge and experience span across technology, innovation, compliance, leadership, relationship, growth, team building, resilience, ethics and mindfulness. I am currently interested in Extended Reality and AI. I've been working on a few projects in those areas. An side story about me: I grew up thinking I wanted to be a medical doctor. I started my journey in computer technology when I took a gap year at BU. I worked at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary at the Berman Gund Laboratory Molecular Genetics Lab for Ophthalmology. I was part of the team with Dr. Eliot Berson, Dr. Thaddeus Dryja, Dr. Kazuto Kajiwara, Dr. Tiansen Li, et al., doing research on Retinitis Pigmentosa and Retinoblastoma. As part of my job, I was supposed to take manually sequenced DNA (all done by hand back then, no automation: 1992) and submit/search them through the genomic DNA database. It was a slow/painful process. I started to write shell scripts on the Sun SparkStation to automate the process and compare sequences. I got so good at my job that I was offered a full-time position, and they even gave me a large room overlooking the Charles River to run all the gels. I remember Kaz and I were the ones that were there for days at a time. I remember when he discovered a part of the "RDS Slow" mutation.
