Oversee the planning and onboarding/implementation of BYU-Idaho's New Student Orientation- GET CONNECTED for each of the three semesters every year; work with and train a council of student leaders who plan, recruit, and train over hundreds of volunteers for our two day orientation. 

Advise the New Student Mentoring program for campus which recruits over 200-300 volunteers each semester to work with new students during their first semester. Collaborate with Academic Support department in the coordination of new student mentors in every College Success class (freshman class) to help with socialization and connection for new students.  Training of student employees to successfully help run the NSM program and develop lifelong skills.

Student Support Coordinator- New Student Orientation & New Student Mentoring

Advise and oversee BYU-Idaho's only student-ran talent organization. Each semester, the student leadership team plans for 8-9 large campus shows (dance, singing, music, and talents), 6 comedy shows and over 20+ weekly workshops. Responsibilities include training student leaders, collaborating and working with various campus entities (ticket office, event services, catering, scheduling, etc.), data collection and analysis of events, and creating goals (short and long term) for team.
