I am a former headteacher with an NPQH, also a PGCE and MEd. in Education (both from Kings College London). Successful experience includes working in both the primary and secondary sectors, with headship roles in Manchester, West Berkshire, and Bournemouth. Highly skilled in educational leadership (permanent and interim roles), coaching, and educational consulting. My current role is Senior Education Adviser (Primary, Secondary and Post 16) for Southwark. This involves managing and developing strategic partnerships. Also, support and challenge to schools, including our professional development offer to all sectors from Early Years upwards. I have also held several roles at the BBC, including Six O’clock News (Reporter), Education Correspondent for BBC Radio 5 Live. BBC London News (Education Correspondent) and TV presenter on live daytime television, including being a reporter on Tomorrow's World. I have significant experience as a compere, speaker or presenter at a range of events including online and internationally.
