In the three years spent working with the fund-raising arm of The University of Manchester I participated in a wide range of fundraising and volunteer activities the highlights including being sponsored to get to Berlin in under 30 hours without spending any money (Kidscan, Salford) and recruiting and organising a team of 40 to climb Mount Kilimanjaro and supporting them in their fundraising which raised over £85,000 (Childreach International). 

In my final year I was the treasurer of the organisation and worked in a team that doubled the charitable donations from the previous year to over £300,000.
