When I was 18, I started going door-to-door selling Kirby vacuum cleaners after getting fired from my first job at a grocery store. After 2 years of door-to-door sales, I had gone from a timid, shy kid to a sales machine that was closing 1 out of 2 demonstrations and would gladly knock on any door. I moved back to my hometown after feeling burned out and did a bunch of odd jobs for a few months at a time, ranging from flipping burgers to painting apartments to working in a call center. In 2016 at 22 years old, I started my first business, Positive Traders. I had found a knack for intraday trading the foreign exchange market and saw an opportunity to create a business model around selling my time and knowledge (courses, webinars, live calls, etc). I grew this business into a multiple-six-figure company over 4 years, but didn't have the business acumen to understand scaling and even was naive to having business partners. I ultimately got burned out once again and closed the declining recurring monthly model I had. In 2021, I made a pivot into the NFT space as crypto began another bull run, and coming into crypto for the first time in 2017, I knew there was some serious money to be made this time. I worked on several projects, some of which did very well, while others were a flop. The space was extremely degenerate but very fun to be a part of. We lived on Twitter and Discord and had no social life. I had some big wins but was in so much debt at the time that it ended up being a wash. In 2022, crypto started correcting and I was extremely overleveraged and lost everything. In August 2022, while living out of my car, I learned about the Employee Retention Credit and how I could help businesses with the Credit and make a commission for doing so. In 14 months my organization did over $100m in signed and submitted deals. In September 2023, I started my third company, Virtus Labs, which is centered around affiliate marketing and connecting high-performing entrepreneurs to incredible offers. Our goal is to do $10m in business net profit in 2024.
