I am the internal product manager at Team D3, a Symetri company. This means I drive the launch and improvement of the operational tools our employees use to do their jobs every day. I work at the intersection of people, process, data, tools, and communication within our software systems, including Salesforce, Cloud Coach project management, Gong revenue intelligence platform, Consensus demo automation platform, Power BI sales pipeline and forecast tool, and a host of other features that work together so our sales staff can sell, our professional services staff can deliver, and our finance staff can bill for and recognize the revenue of the products and services we deliver to our industrial design clients. Before this role, I trained and onboarded new hires to our systems and processes, and before that administered the CRM and reporting infrastructure of Team D3 when it was known as D3 Technologies. Aside from my work at Team D3 in the past few years, I've led the effort of merging multiple enterprise systems at a startup incubator, administered the tools and reporting at an IT services company, and managed a team of student leaders to run math placement testing and freshmen welcome events at a state university. I have a bachelors in entrepreneurship and a minor in business analytics, which means I always approach my work with the mindset of "what would I do if I owned this business?" and "what value can we get from gathering and reporting on this data?" I'm fascinated by the history, operations, and planning of public transit systems, learning and thinking about how organizations get their best work done, and trying to spend as much time as possible outdoors in Chicago year round, whether that's on a bike, a beach, a sidewalk, a trail, or in the water.
