My fascination with communications began in the late 70s, after Peter (a school friend) lied to me! He told me the antenna on his Dad's van was for a TV... When really it was for a CB (Citizens Band) radio, which had been illegally imported to the UK from America. Ever since then I have not stopped 'playing' with communications. In addition to using/modifying CBs and Amateur Radios, I've built transmitters, made 'free' radio programmes, create telephone systems, and delivered training and conference speeches in many parts of the world.
