I am a multilingual C-level commercial and operations leader with 15+ years of experience scaling multinational organizations, PE-backed mid-market companies and thirty-person startups. Starting with my time at McKinsey and then across various financial services (BNP Paribas, Bridgewater Associates) and tech-enabled information services firms (GLG, New Street Research), I am at my best when integrating strategy, finance, analytics, and operational goals into a clear and actionable plan, inspiring all areas of the organization to exceed their current potential and empowering them to execute with laser-like precision and a shared sense of purpose. I was most recently the first CEO hired into Enterprise Technology Research, an alternative data technology research platform, after the founder's departure. In three years, I built out new client segments and product lines that grew to 25% of overall revenue, upgraded the NYC-based team into a US-wide, remote-first working model, and expanded the core asset (a community of 8000+ IT decision makers) by 80% including tripling ETR's international presence. Formerly, I have served in Global COO, product, finance, and strategy roles, each time deeply integrated into the senior management team and a key architect of the company's growth strategy and tactical execution plan. I love rolling up my sleeves (or firing up Python, as the case may be) and getting dirty with the data as much as I love building and mentoring teams, savoring Socratic-style problem-solving sessions that give rise to innovative and paradigm-expanding solutions. I am also a professional jazz pianist, spending ages 16-30 traveling the world and playing venues from Madison Square Garden and the Big Apple Circus to brewery-sponsored television specials in Karlsruhe (Germany), concerts at thermal springs in Vals (Switzerland), and workshops in Franciscan youth communities in Formica (Italy), along with your more regular jazz club and Broadway gigs. My travels (and a still-present boyhood dream to be an espionage agent a la James Bond or Jack Bauer) have fueled a passion for language learning—I’m fluent in Greek and always looking for a reason to improve my Spanish, Mandarin, Italian, Russian, Hebrew, and French. Ultimately, I believe business is about people, and I love connecting and working with intelligent, driven human beings who share a passion for learning, creating, and efficiency.
