What is the point of life if we are forgotten when we die? I protect memories from being lost. When you have a funeral, or wedding, or retirement ceremony, or awards banquet there is a commemorative slideshow to sum up a person’s contributions in this life. I specialize in making that slideshow and keeping it alive for years after the commemorative event. I do this with a QR code on a persons urn, grave marker, memorial service leaflets, wedding invitations, awards, medals, trophies, and other keepsakes so that one can scan the QR code to instantly see the slideshow. My passion to save people from being forgotten came from being a first responder…seeing life begin and end on the streets of Los Angeles for a quarter of a century. In 2017, my friend died in a tragic line-of-duty training mishap in downtown L.A. The idea of seeing a person’s life story, by scanning an engraved QR code on the gravestone, came to me at his funeral. In mid 2020 I pursued my idea while working full time in the fire department. I made the very first “DASH” (a laser engraved QR code) and attached it to my friend’s memorial at the fire station so anyone can see his life tribute slideshow. I retired from firefighting in 2022 to be full time at DASH. I have served 300 clients with my manual white glove system gaining valuable insight on what customers really need and what they don’t in an AI based mobile app so I can scale my abilities to serve millions at a time.
