I'm a mechanical engineer with an MBA in Technology Management. At Eastman Kodak, I designed the machines that made the rolls of film we used to take real pictures with not so long ago. I was also one of the designers of the first document scanner. That's when I was introduced to business process automation software and the optical disk. Coolest thing I'd ever seen. Since then, I've been working with company leaders to optimize business processes and grow revenues. The only way to do that successfully is to understand the fundamentals of how businesses work and with outstanding technology. I made the transition from engineering to sales and I've loved every minute of it since then -- well, almost every minute. Using great fundamentals from the training I received from Kodak and IBM, I became very good at growing sales, managing sales teams and eventually, running companies. A mentor once told me, "Sales is the best job and the worst job you'll ever have." He was absolutely right.
