For over 30 years, I have Co-Managed a $6M business portfolio for a family-owned group of businesses across residential and mixed-use real estate development, residential property management, agriculture,  transportation & logistics, business advisory, and franchising and operations of retail stores.  During that time, I and my team have:
•	Successfully acquired and developed multiple residential real property projects. Secured construction financing, oversaw regulatory aspects of development, negotiated engineering and construction contracts, and developed transaction documents for seller-financed transactions, then selected and oversaw outsourced collection services for secured debt portfolio.
•	Negotiated due diligence investigation, contracts, creation of multi-year business and wealth plans. leading to acquisition, operation and exit of unit franchise and territory development rights to multiple franchise businesses. 
•	Coordinated family wealth, tax and legal advisors in establishment of testamentary trust structure, followed by long-term counsel and coordination of fund managers and wealth advisors for high net worth family trust and individual investment portfolios focused on generational wealth preservation, maintenance income for the first generation family member, and higher education funding for third generation family members.

 As consulting CFO/business advisor to emerging growth and mid-market companies I leverage a international finance and business tax background, as well as 10+ years as a CFO in similarly sized enterprises, to define business vision and strategy, and assist in securing capital for business growth.

 I am currently leading an outsourced team to acquire small and lower middle market businesses with an Eye Toward Providing Owners a Financial Reward, and a Safe Pair of Hands to take on their Legacy

Global Artisanal Brands seeks to identify and bring to market artisanal beverage products of superior quality and authentic cultural context.

In its efforts of introducing the most unique and culturally significant products from around the world, GAB crafted a unique process which allows it to vet, structure, brand, fundraise, and launch any product that posses high scaling potential in the US Market.

- Developed Majaztec, the first Agave Water to be introduced to the US beverage market.
- Applied previous knowledge of supply chain in order to structure an efficient, and scalable operation with our co-packer/producer in Mexico and cross-border logistics providers.
- Secured seed and follow-on investment to produce ready-for-market product.

Global Artisanal Brand Holdings: Co-Founder/Chairman/Director

Investigated and acquired firm development rights for the ActionCOACH Business Coaching enterprise for the Texas-Mexico Border region, including due diligence investigation, contract negotiation, and creation of multi-year business and wealth plans. Initiated and managed exit strategy for the investment.

ActionCOACH: Principal Business & Executive Coach/CEO/Owner/Global Sr. Partner

Negotiated acquisition of unit franchise and territory development rights to execute eight-fold expansion in franchise locations and sales in three years. Successfully rolled-out the franchise concept by securing franchisees/investors and expanding vendor base. Served as a trusted advisor to the franchisor to structure the international master region and international beverage distribution businesses in Mexico, as well as chairman of Franchise Advisory Council responsible for strategic planning, brand identity and national marketing.

WineStyles: Area Developer/Franchise Store Owner

Trinity University

2017-2018 Served as Trinity's 4th Entrepreneur-in-Residence in the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship and taught the introductory entrepreneurship sequence (ENTR 2111/2112). Deployed the principles of the Lean Canvas to design and launch student-led ventures from concept to revenue over two semesters. Mentored upper division student ventures seeking to scale and supported the Center's co-curricular activities, including E-Hall and The Stumberg Venture Competition. Undertook preliminary research and fact finding to establish a Student Managed Venture Fund.

Spring 2023: Adjunct Professor: Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition - Search Funding Competition
Inter-universities class co-lead with faculty from UIW and St. Mary's University where students learn the process and approaches to prepare an acquisition proposal for a Search Fund. Some of the topics covered in this course include: search funding, acquisition process, deal evaluation and funding, and preliminary due diligence.

Entrepreneur-In-Residence; Adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurship

B2B CFO Partners, LLC

Consulting CFO to emerging growth and mid-market companies, advising businesses with up to $70M in revenues and their high net worth owners. Leveraging international finance and business tax background, as well as 10+ years as de facto CFO of personal family wealth, to define business vision and strategy in line with family values.
•	Direct all marketing, business development, and consulting activities in a four-county region plus Mexico, providing strategic CFO services, including all aspects of financial management and profitability improvement
•	Conduct financial and operations analysis, valuation, cost accounting, pricing strategy, financing, and acquisitions/dispositions; advise business owners on company and personal financial strategy alignment to achieve family wealth goals  
•	Secured $2.5M in project funding for an industrial client, obtained credit facilities of $3M-$5M for multiple clients in transportation and construction, and obtained $5.1M in equipment financing for an asset-based transportation client

EBI LOGISTICS 

Provided financial leadership to a multi-faceted, international 3PL with over 450 employees generating $25M in gross revenues annually. 
•	Spearheaded the creation of new internal accounting and treasury departments and development of related processes and procedures
•	Secured over $6M in initial lines of credit for various international subsidiaries and provided financial modeling and decision support to ownership regarding international facilities expansions

Chief Financial Officer, EBI Logistics Group 

Oversaw all aspects of a De Novo Services company providing dispatch, bookkeeping, financial analysis and safety/compliance services to independent owner-operator and small fleet trucking companies. 
•	Developed all processes and procedures, initial brand development and marketing strategy, and hiring of senior management staff, guiding the company from concept to first sale in less than eight weeks
•	Created the business plan and secured equipment and financing for a small fleet of trucks within 90 days and led successful startup in 150 days with revenues exceeding $4M in the first 12 months

President & CEO, Assured Logistics/My Truck Manager

Royal Freight, L.P.

Directed a $70M long haul trucking company with 400 direct and indirect reports and full accountability for all finance and accounting functions, day-to-day operations, asset optimization, and equipment sourcing / selection.
•	Converted financial reporting from individual business unit, tax-basis to GAAP compliant consolidated basis, and secured over $15M in working capital and equipment financing within the first 180 days in the role
•	Renegotiated over $10M in long-term debt and established a lease-purchase program for oldest company equipment, dramatically reducing maintenance and fuel costs and creating $7M in owner/family value
•	Negotiated a $1.5M, five-year contract to upgrade fleet tracking and communications systems in cabs and trailers  
•	Led new equipment acquisitions and financing valued at over $13M with projected annual savings of $2.5M through increased fuel economy and reduced maintenance costs, leading to over $12M in additional value creation for family owners

Jenrob Investments 

Managed all aspects of finance, lender/investor relations, risk management, and logistics functions for a $60M revenue startup.
•	Directed a six-person accounting team in cash management, currency management, AR/AP, and financial reporting
•	Oversaw all import / export operations, domestic truck fleet, and third-party Mexican trucking service providers

Interim Chief Financial Officer / Chief Operations Officer

Yarto International Group

Full financial and operational oversight for $100M revenue international commodities wholesale and distribution company with operations in the US and Mexico.
•	Grew business operations by 320% in three years, from $30M to $96M in revenues, by developing strategic plans for expansion of product base and vertical integration of internal business services
•	Maintained full accountability for the company P&L with a focus on finance, lender/investor relations, risk management, and legal functions
•	Forged strong banking relationships, secured investors, and supervised site selection, financing, construction, and licensing for the development of a refrigerated distribution facility in Reynosa, Mexico via joint venture with ultra high net worth family office
