Parable

As a Co-Founder and former Interim CEO of Parable, I led the company through its initial growth phase, successfully driving it to profitability with $130K in revenue in the first year. My tenure was marked by securing $150K in seed funding and guiding the business to a stage where we began exploring buyers for our unique intellectual property and business model. My role has since evolved to that of a Strategic Advisor, continuing to support Parable's mission of capturing and sharing inspiring life stories through video.

- Shareholder and employee nine, helped grow the company from $200K to $22MM in revenue over 6 years building and leading multiple departments
- Directly sold/closed $35MM in revenue supporting the company’s 90% YoY growth
- Prepared the business for a Private Equity purchase by streamlining core processes building revenue
- Built the Product and Strategy teams, establishing an internal design-thinking practice
- Established several innovation studios and teams within Fortune 100 using lean startup best practices as the basis for the model
- As COO, helped rescue the business from falling sales during the Covid crisis, driving revenue during the shortfall while closing new major accounts to sustain rebound growth

As VP of Product I partner with RevUnit leadership to assess and analyze the effectiveness of our product strategy and development processes. I seek to understand our market position and identify opportunities to enhance and differentiate our services and delight our clients. In addition, it is my responsibility to lead the Product function, providing support to existing product teams in strategic and organic business development activities. This includes the coaching of cross-functional teams in the best practices of product development, ensuring excellence in product delivery.

As Director of Product I was responsible for educating, growing and managing the product department at RevUnit. In addition, I coordinated product development teams for RevUnit and our clients. The responsibilities for these projects spanned product strategy, client service, product management and business development functions.

As a Sr. Product Strategist I was responsible for product strategy, stakeholder communication, product management and business development. This role included leadership of cross-functional product teams in the development of mobile and web applications. In addition, I performed the Scrum Master role, working closely with engineers to scope, define and track work through to delivery.

Launch Retreat was an intense 3-day 3-night event that provided early-stage business founders with the professional development required to lead and scale organizations. We provided business owners access to A-list mentors and industry experts that had a record of success. In this focused getaway we analyzed business models, provide leadership training and conducted go-to-market strategy audits aimed at exposing areas of growth opportunity for each business. 

- Launched and managed multiple 3-day retreats and growth plans for post-revenue business owners
- Coordinated  customized sessions based on target growth areas for each business
- Brought in numerous mentors and speakers, providing owners with perspective and establishing a clear 6-12 month action plan upon completion

As CEO I was focused on brand, product, business development and strategic growth initiatives for Moxy Ox. I also created processes for our CSM system to support sales growth across all departments. I was the primary contact for multi-service clients and led our teams in the creation of bids for new business.
