I am responsible for managing a region consisting of seven sales teams in the Central Time Zone and Eastern Canada. I assist my sales teams in working with prospective clients who are starting the Splunk Journey. Also, I work with our existing clients to expand the value of their initial Splunk deployment by addressing new problems that we can solve with our technology.

In January 2011, I transferred internally from VMware to the EMC division, Greenplum.  EMC Greenplum is the industry-leading massively parallel processing (MPP) database designed for mission critical database analytics.  I was responsible for developing Greenplum's business in Texas and Oklahoma calling on Enterprise accounts (FORTUNE 500).

As Global Account Manager I was responsible for developing and closing opportunities for VMware's two largest Telco clients. In addition, I developed the account strategy, managed the partnership relationships, and managed our team toward achieving our revenue goals. Finally, my team was accountable for ensuring that our clients were overwhelmingly happy with VMware's products and services.

Prior to my promotion to Global Account Manager at VMware, I opened the Texas region for VMware before the acquisition by EMC in 2004.  I was a territory sales representative responsible for developing business in an eight state region when VMware was a $50 Million in revenue company.  I enjoyed building the business in the Texas region for VMware and helped contribute to the phenomenal growth of the company.

Interwoven

I opened and established the Texas/Oklahoma sales region as Interwoven expanded it operations in the Southwest region. In 2000 I sold one of the largest Interwoven deals of the year to AMR American Airlines. In 2001 I was promoted to IBM Global Alliance Manager, and was assigned responsibility for managing a team of two sales representatives and two system engineers with the goal of establishing the IBM channel as a revenue source for Interwoven.

I represented Business Objects’ WEB enabled decision support tools for analytical reporting to companies based in Kansas, Oklahoma, and Dallas/Ft. Worth. Some of the clients that I worked with during my tenure were Employers Reinsurance Corporation (a division of GE Capital), Sprint, CITGO Petroleum, Texas Instruments, and Conoco.

Entrepreneur and investor with a background as a software sales professional in the technology market. In addition to building and growing sales territories for pre-IPO software companies, I have developed and managed high growth sales teams. Now, I am taking that same growth mindset to commercial real estate investing.
