I am a specialist probate and estate planning accountant helping families preserve, grow and transfer the fruits of their life to their loved ones tax efficiently. I provide family solicitors with that independent voice of reason as an Expert Court Witness for divorcing clients battling over the CGT on their non matrimonial residential properties. I provide the strategic vision for Marcus Bishop Associates team of accountants and business professionals for our delivery of accountancy, taxation and business support services to our ever growing portfolio of personal and business clients. I have been a financial columnist for over a decade for SE21 and SE22 published by SE Magazines, http://semagazines.co.uk. In addition, I have authored four accounting text books and co-authored a further two books. I am a public speaker on estate planning for individuals, families and businesses; and a range of business and financial subjects. I demystify and communicate technical subjects effectively to audiences. I developed these skills from two decades as a university academic lecturing on professional, postgraduate and undergraduate courses in the UK, Africa, the Caribbean and the EU. I serve as an NED for several Non Profit Distributing Organisations; and represent my professional body on the International Federation of Accountants, based in New York. As a prostate cancer survivor I am also prostate cancer advocate for Prostate Cancer UK and The Errol McKellar Foundation to raise the awareness and education of prostate cancer to all via open access talks to organisations and chairing regular discussions and forums.
