With over 20 years of experience in business consulting, accounting, and psychology, David Paterson is an Organisational Psychologist at Ambulance Victoria, where he applies his strengths of communication, analysis, problem solving, and outcome delivery to enhance the well-being and effectiveness of the workforce. He is a registered psychologist, endorsed Organisational Psychologist and Fellow of the APS College of Organisation Psychologists, as well as a qualified accountant (CPA) with strong financial and commercial acumen. David is passionate about doing business better through people, and enjoys working with diverse organisations and teams to facilitate and coach cultural change, improve engagement, and develop leaders. He has multiple psychological test accreditations, including Dennison Culture and Leadership Profiling, MLQ Plus, PCI Change Accreditation, People Tactics Organisational Design Practitioner, Saville Wave Assessments, and Hogan Assessments. He is also the winner of the Three Minute Thesis competition at the APS 13th Industrial and Organisational Psychology Conference, where he presented his original research on the meaningfulness of work and job engagement.
