Technology is no longer a competitive advantage.

With open access to AI technology, all companies large and small have the same capabilities, other than scale, which is really no competitive advantage at all.

What will always be a competitive advantage is quality of service.

And in that game, small often wins.

Hire small.

Maybe it is time to start taking Elon Musk at his word.

His predictions around work and UBI may prove ahead of the curve and are perhaps grounded in knowledge we simply lack here on the outside.

We have a velocity problem with job elimination and it may increase.

Automation and labor reductions drive EPS.  Just look at the Dow/Nasdaq and the ADP report side by side.

What compelling argument can be made to stop or even slow this trend?

Especially when consumers of AI-based automation are told "adapt or die".

Like it or not, every single task we utilize AI to perform that may help at an individual performance level, in total equals jobs we no longer need in this new world.

It is time we simply take the Tech Leaders who are building the stuff at their own words.

32k job loss in November may prove to be just the tip of the iceberg.

We cannot live in denial any longer.
