In addition to my professional experience, I have excellent educational qualifications, including a Master of Science in Engineering with a focus on engineering management and leadership from Purdue University. I also have two undergraduate degrees from the University of Washington in Industrial and Systems Engineering and Philosophy. I have completed a 3.5 year Boeing Emerging Leaders Development Program and hold a Certificate of Global Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management. I am currently pursuing the Sustainability Excellence Associate credential from Green Business Certifications Inc. and expect to obtain it in Q2 of 2023. In my free time, I support numerous local, national, and international organizations, including Building Beyond the Walls, the University of Washington, Bonney Lake Food Bank (The Market) and the Rotary Club of Sumner. As a lifelong learner, I am constantly exploring new interests, including mycology, regenerative agriculture, sustainability, applied network science, climate change reversal technologies/strategies/policies/organizations, strategy studies across history, evolutionary biology, psychology, and plant-based and ancient medicines.
