In my ongoing internship, I have been supporting the PR and wider teams through: 
- following established PR strategy plans for existing and new hospitality clients
- sourcing and outreaching to content creators and press for ongoing visits and events
- drafting media alerts and press release around new menu releases, restaurant launches and campaigns
- building relationships with journalists and creating a network, allowing me to secure press coverage for our clients
- building and updating media lists and databases
- assisting with admin duties

British Medical Journal

A virtual one week work experience placement at the British Medical Journal. During the week, I had the privilege of speaking to various members of the editorial staff, including features editors, graphic designers and clinical writers. I thoroughly enjoyed the insight and it has provided me with greater clarity towards my future career prospects.

Participated in the Sprint Programme that was offered by Warwick Student Opportunity and The Springboard Consultancy. SPRINT is a personal and professional development programme for female students. I completed a series of workshops, with some inspirational guest speakers, about personal image, networking, confidence, discrimination in the workplace and the concept of 'womanhood'. As well as various tasks and challenges in a digital workbook, we had to do group presentation about how we had developed since beginning the programme, honing my digital design skills, introspection, teamwork and speaking skills.
