o	Plan, implement and evaluate large scale, K-12 pipeline and educational outreach programs designed to expose underserved, underrepresented Kalamazoo/Battle Creek students to careers in healthcare.  
o	Assist in development ofActive Citizenship curriculum for first and second year medical students. Establish partnerships with many local non-profit/educational institutions that host medical students through their Active Citizenship rotations.
o	Represent WMed throughout the community in various capacities. 
o	Develop partnerships to increase community engagement opportunities for faculty, staff and students. 
o	Develop and implement strategies to improve diversity of faculty, staff and students. 
o	Partner with community organizations to provide collaborative community programming around the subjects of health equity, education, community health and diversity.
o	Develop departmental strategic plans for the offices of Development and Community Affairs.
o	Provide insight and momentum to WMed’s Community Engagement and Diversity and Inclusion Strategic Planning Teams.

At my core, I am and will always be an educator.  It is a lens that has been incredibly valuable to me- both inside and outside of the classroom. As Chief Culture Officer for The Culture Architects, I am passionate about helping leaders create thriving workplace cultures by tapping into authentic leadership acumen, building magnetic teams, creating motivating strategic plans, and developing the next generation of leaders.
