•	Successful recruitment strategies are helping the district outpace enrollment projections by more 
        than 10,000 students.

•	Marketing efforts helped bring an end to more than 15 years of declining enrollment in Cincinnati 
        Public Schools.
•	Launched a successful social media program, building an organic audience of more than 30,000 
        within three years.

        public engagement meetings, and groundbreaking and ribbon-cutting ceremonies.
•	Secured Tom Joyner, a nationally syndicated radio personality with more than 8 million listeners in 
        more than 100 markets, to host his annual Back-to-School broadcast from a CPS high school.
•	Arranged dozens of positive print, television and radio stories – including two segments on CNN’s 
        Lou Dobbs Tonight.

•	Operated a home-based communications consulting business serving AFC Enterprises, Inc.; The 
        APEX Museum; the Atlanta Urban League; BellSouth Telecommunications; Churchs Chicken; 
        Citizens Trust Bank; the Georgia Department of Family & Children Services; Popeyes Chicken & 
        Biscuits; and ROOTS Adoption Agency.
•	Promoted five music concerts attracting an average audience of 5,000 attendees.
•	Led team to organize the annual Churchs Chicken Day of Dreams, a national event at all company- 
        owned restaurants in which proceeds from chicken sales benefited Habitat for Humanity.

•	Arranged more than 20 television appearances on local and national programs, including 'Oprah' 
        and 'Today.'
•	Raised more than $280,000 in grant funds, corporate gifts and private contributions.
•	Created, planned and managed an annual adoption conference and annual adoption picnic.
•	Effectively positioned the Executive Director as a nationally known expert on adoptions of African- 
        American children.
