These services cover the fundamentals but also cater for any additional focuses you may have.

2.	Formatting of numbers, measurements, currency figures, percentages, dates, times, and time periods

•	Raise queries for any unclear or incomplete content

Financial planning content is one of my specialties—with my business and financial planning qualifications and work experience I have a good knowledge of its terminology and can cut through the jargon to make sure your clients understand and follow every word.

•	Tailor my writing style and tone to suit the audience while maintaining the Gazette's voice

•	Incorporate feedback and revisions—as needed—to refine content

Freelance Writer Education Gazette magazine

Master Plumbers, Gasfitters & Drainlayers NZ Inc.

Duties:
•	Write a variety of articles covering features, profile pieces, and case studies
•	Work with my editor and team members to brainstorm ideas, research topics, and develop engaging content
•	Conduct interviews with plumbers, apprentice plumbers, plumbing industry professionals, and other individuals of interest to gather information and insights for articles
•	Edit and proofread articles to make sure they are accurate, clear, and keep to editorial guidelines
•	Gather visuals and graphics for the design team that complement and enhance the written content
•	Manage deadlines to deliver articles on schedule

Freelance Writer

Lifestyle Magazine Group

Duties:
•	Check the designed magazine is accurate, consistent, and follows NZ Lifestyle Block's editorial standards
•	Review articles, features, ads, and other content to identify and correct errors in grammar, punctuation, spelling, and formatting
•	Work with the editor to maintain the magazine's editorial voice and style 
•	Check for factual accuracy, clarity, and coherence in NZ Lifestyle Block’s content
•	Give feedback to my editor to enhance the clarity of content
•	Manage deadlines to meet print schedules

Duties:
•	Subedit and copywrite content across a range of topics
•	Work closely with Katie to craft copy that is engaging to clients’ target audiences
•	Subedit content to be clear, coherent, and adhere to the client’s brief
•	Copywrite for many formats—tech white papers, healthcare web copy, accounting blogs, and other content types
•	Research subjects to produce accurate and credible content
•	Adjust tone to suit the project and audience
•	Use creativity to enhance the effectiveness of written content
•	Deliver polished, error-free copy
