As a consultant, I have worked on various co-design projects across sectors, playing a key role as project leader, researcher, sense-maker, and visualiser. As a strategic designer, I explore complex problems and work to understand and design for complex systems and behaviour change through a human-centred design thinking approach. ​ As a complex information visualiser, I unpack complexity (scientific theory, policy, strategies and frameworks or research findings) to create engaging visual artefacts to communicate to your audiences for behaviour change. As a user researcher, I know the power a story holds. By capturing people's experiences through mixed methods; such as interviews, focus groups, observations and visual live-scribing I can synthesis of the data into actionable insights and beautifully designed artefacts to inform future innovation. I've lead projects with small teams, ensuring people are collaborating and confident in their roles. Recently, I designed ThinkPlace's Design Thinking for Libraries Training program and delivered workshops across the state, teaching others the introduction theory and methods of design thinking and human-centred design principles.
