Dave Chaffey is leading an innovative augmented reality startup called Immertia. The company works in the field of customer experience and product packaging, and develops end-to-end industry solutions to extend the customer experience beyond product packaging.

There are two in-market concepts Swigr™ and Winerytale, with the first aimed at the wider alcoholic beverages industry, and the latter for the global wine Industry.

Swigr is the leading AR platform for the alcoholic beverages industry, globally, and since launching in October 2022, has signed Budweiser, Paulaner, Maui Brewing, and 50+ brands from around the world.

Dave is also a founding partner of Third Aurora, the commercial tech engine that created the technology behind the platforms. 

Although Dave in not actively developing tech, his direction, and keen eye for opportunity underpins a range of new innovations being developed for commercial application.

His keynote speaking shows his entrepreneurial zeal. And his seminal look at business in the coming years takes elements of technology, principles of marketing, human behaviour, and lessons from history, setting out the blueprint to create a new market, or Trap a Bear, as he prefers.

DIGITAL EXPERT
Prior to the current activities, Dave refined his digital marketing expertise, developing strategic solutions for a number established companies such as Akubra, Specsavers, Haval Motors, as well as disruptive ASX-newcomers such as Lifespot Health and Impression Healthcare.

Dave also provided expertise on the business-focused television show - Kochie's Business Builders, where he delivered innovative and actionable advice to businesses, promoting growth through the simple-adoption of technology.

From this experience, he formed a partnership with David Koch and Luke Chaffey, founding KBB Digital, a Digital Agency delivering strategic digital marketing solutions for business.

Visioncrest

Visioncrest was an optical franchise that was acquired by Sepcsavers in 2007. Dave Chaffey and his two partners Shane Davie, and Dennis O'Keeffe (deceased), grew the business from one store to a chain of 25 outlets, establishing Australia's first optical franchise along the way.  Dave's role in the business was initially as the principal Optometrist, then later, he ceased practicing Optometry to develop the franchise, as well as creating the custom point of sale software for the group, and assuming the role of Managing Director.

Dave Chaffey is a partner at Immertia, an innovative tech startup that works in the field of AI and augmented reality to enhance customer experience. Their platforms Nexposai, Displai and Swigr operate across a range of industries.  

With over 10 years of experience in digital marketing and entrepreneurship, Dave is an expert in using AI and AR to create industry solutions that extend the customer journey beyond the product.

Dave is also a professional speaker, industry thought-leader, and influencer in the digital space, with regular appearances as the resident digital expert for Channel 7's Kochie's Business Builders TV show. He is passionate about growing small and medium businesses in Australia, and has co-founded and led KBB Digital, a successful digital agency that provides results-driven products and services for the SME sector. Dave is a strong entrepreneurship professional with a background in science and marketing from the University of Melbourne.
