Product Manager

- Product Launch Coaching: Successfully coached an organization through the launch of a leading new HR case management product. This included training in essential product practices such as - OKRs, user story mapping, BDD, outcome-based roadmaps, Design Thinking, and Lean UX for Outcome Driven Development.
- Mentorship and Development: Guided and mentored Product Managers in creating product vision, roadmapping, backlog management, user story mapping, Scrum team collaboration, and prioritization.
- Value Delivery Improvement: Coached a team to reduce value delivery time for customers from 1 year to 11 weeks by forming a fully cross-functional team and integrating UX design into the process. - Mentored Product Owners and UX Designers across multiple organizations.
- Product Ownership: Served as the Product Owner for my coaching team in developing the Team Agility Assessment, a team health check tool. This involved conducting interviews, employing design thinking, rapid prototyping, and launching to 235 teams within the organization.
- Design Sprints Leadership: Led multiple Design Sprints to enable rapid prototyping of ideas and experimentation.
- Facilitation and Training: Facilitated large-scale leadership events and training sessions.
OKR Coaching: Provided OKR coaching to enable effective goal setting and alignment across teams.

Agile Coach

- Product Vision Workshops: Designed and led full-day Product Vision workshops based on Roman Pichler’s Product Vision Board format, helping Product Owners and teams formulate a clear vision for their product areas.
- Design Sprints Facilitation: Facilitated Design Sprints using the 5-day Google Ventures process, enabling cross-functional teams to rapidly ideate and validate new product feature concepts.
- Communities of Practice: Facilitated and assisted with Communities of Practice on Kanban, BDD, and other Agile topics, promoting continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the Workday Dublin community.
- Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) Adoption: Guided teams in adopting BDD, resulting in a 22% reduction in defects.
- Release Planning and User Story Mapping: Coached teams in effective Release Planning techniques, including facilitating User Story Mapping workshops to plan iterative and incremental releases.

As a servant leader working across development and UX teams, my responsibilities included:

- Scrum Master and Kanban Coach: Trained and coached Scrum and Kanban teams, including onboarding new teams and Product Owners, to enhance agile practices and team efficiency.
- Lean Practices: Introduced Lean tools such as Toyota Kata and A3 Thinking to Kanban teams, significantly reducing lead times from an average of 17 days to 3 days.
- Agile Community of Practice: Established and facilitated an Agile Community of Practice to scale knowledge and best practices across our growing organization.
- Mentorship and Agile Program Development: Mentored Scrum Masters in eBusiness and other groups, and co-created Symantec’s Agile Mentoring Program with an Agile Coach. This 14-week Agile Coaching course was designed to develop Scrum Masters into apprentice Agile Coaches.

* Overseeing the creative, branding, tone and optimisation of all Norton consumer web properties in EMEA, a business worth $420 million per year
* Leading a team of 5 designers & 2 copywriters across EMEA & APJ
* Delivered a shopping cart redesign which added $12 million/year in incremental bookings to the global business Performed regular usability testing with customers Optimisation of EMEA & APJ Norton.com eStores, using A/B Testing. One re-design initiative added $2 million/year to our UK bookings
* Analysing reports in Adobe Target and Omniture to inform on improvements to user experience

UX Design Manager

As a multi-disciplined designer / front-end developer in EMEA, my main responsibilities included:

* Supervising & mentoring 2 other designers
* Design lead for Symantec's Digital River hosted online stores in EMEA. This included a major re-branding project for the Norton consumer stores for Eastern Europe, which succeeded in doubling bookings in the region.
* Front-end development of all EMEA online stores through becoming a jQuery ninja.
