Oriflame is a leading beauty & wellness company selling direct in more than 60 countries worldwide.

As Marketing Communications Manager, I was responsible for the development and implementation of a Scientific Communication Strategy that supported international brand-building initiatives and promoted Oriflame’s value proposition internally and externally with respect to R&D, Science and Technology.

• Represented Oriflame at international PR & Sales events (up to 10,000 in attendance) and in media interviews to support product launches, as an expert in my field.
• Developed and executed an annual Global Communications Plan for Science & Innovation.
• Created a content pipeline for R&D–related marketing collateral, for digital & offline use.
• Aligned Global & Regional teams to ensure consistent implementation of communication campaigns.
• Developed and maintained relationships with key media & publications stakeholders for effective promotion of R&D activity. 
• Managed and coached a team of Communications experts to contribute to an NPD pipeline portfolio.

Marketing Communications Manager - R&D

• Investigated, selected and created test methods and designs to substantiate product claims for up to 500 new products annually, in accordance with global and regional regulatory requirements and timeframes of NPD.
• Generated market-ready content based on new ingredients/technologies and presented concepts to Marketing teams at quarterly update meetings.
• Liaised with regional marketing teams to adapt sales support materials according to local needs, while maintaining alignment with Global brand guidelines.
• Designed, administered and supervised consumer market research to evaluate appeal of products, as well as needs, attitudes and behaviours.
