Having started the business in 2002, Debbie now manages a creative team who specialise in brand strategy, brand development and management, corporate identity, graphic design and marketing. Debbie has consulted to Westfield on their retailers program, presents and trains on the topic of branding - in particular brand archetypes. She has created brand strategies for hundreds of businesses and her team of professional designers implement and roll out the creative concepts to compliment the strategy.

Actively involved in her community she likes to use her position to give back to charity whenever possible.

Debbie won the 2012 and 2022 Business Person of the Year Award for the Penrith Area, dedicates a lot of her resources to assist charities and not for profit organisations and is a key note speaker.

Debbie opened Penrith's first co-working location which has since won numerous awards including Champions of The West, Smart 100 Awards, 100 Top Coolest Companies in Australia and a local Penrith Business Award. She is also the author Brand Magic - How to build a brand with personality.

The Creative Fringe

I am the founder and operator of The Creative Fringe - the most awarded co-working venue in Penrith NSW. We have turned a dirty old mechanic warehouse into an inspiring space in which creatives can work collaboratively and leverage off eachother for the greater good of their clients.

Hot desks are available for hire on flexible plans to suit any budget or working habit. Each desk allows access to WiFi, our meeting rooms and breakout areas, tea and coffee facilities and obviously a dynamic community in which to network and work with every day.

During my 2 years on the board we achieved the following:
- Launched Lights On Penrith which featured special events to highlight the growth and opportunities in Penrith (White River Design created the branding)
- Launched a new and improved website (interface designed by White River Design)
- Created the Penrith With Purpose program where we gave away $20,000 to 3 successful pitches from members in the area of innovation
- Started the Chamber Collective groups of up to 15 members who network fortnightly in a board room style environment
- Moved from rental offices to remote working (thanks Covid)
- Online Lunch and Learn series

Under the company name Brand Magic we are providing a white labeled, psychology based system to strategists, graphic designers, copywriters, photographers, videographers and marketers from around the world.
