As deputy project manager in GIZ- Integrated Soil Fertility Management project, I'm coordinating and facilitating activities in four regions in Ethiopia. I do have also huge experienced on assessment of capacity gaps, developing training materials, facilitating trainings, workshops, experience sharing, establishing & maintaining links with partners on the national, regional & community level. As a National Project Coordinator, I do have also extensive experience on project management. Practically I am coordinated Agrobiodiversity Conservation project at National level implemented at four woredas in three regions, financed by GEF and technically supported by UNDP. This experience gave me a chance to lead four teams organized at each woredas in the three regions. As Dean, Academic Vice Dean, Plant Science Department Head & Dean of the Students at Holeta Agricultural Technical & Vocational Education Training College, I do have enormous experiences in Planning, directing, organizing, controlling, leading, evaluating & monitoring activities & resources. I do have a experience on Knowledge Management specifically on the development of Sustainable Land Management, knowledge base website, identifying, collecting, organizing, documenting & uploading Agriculture related reference materials to the website, identifying and documenting Agricultural best practice & Preparing training materials on Knowledge Management concepts. I do have also ample experiences in producing teaching materials: curricula, hand-outs, practical manuals & session plan and teaching both practical and theory at college level on Agricultural fields. i do have an experience on professional development of project proposals to secure capital funding, preparation of quarterly & annual reports, & preparation of monitoring & evaluation outcomes. i can do also high-impact presentations at public & professional/peer group meetings, with easily mixing myself with others & friend making behavior.
