Built up Revolut's profile in Singapore by actively pursuing media opportunities in broadcast, the newspapers and online at a time when marketing spend was cut back due to the Covid pandemic. Working with senior leaders in the organisation, set the tone and messaging to effectively promote Revolut's products and values in the media. 

Crafted content and thought-leadership pieces to raise product awareness and educate customers on Revolut's unique selling points as a global fintech superapp. Grew daily active users by 5x between 2020 and 2022, achieving high targets in revenue, media coverage, brand awareness, and customer engagement. 

Reviewed and managed paid editorial opportunities that would further drive top-of-mind for Revolut amongst the expatriates in Singapore. Designed media kits to engage the press and open their eyes to what the app is capable of doing for customers here. 

Managed customer communications to ensure customers are regularly updated about campaigns and are excited about new product launches through an engaging mix of emails and Telegram messages. Worked with Ops team to generate new ideas for marketing campaigns to position Revolut as an everyday card and a trusted app to use when travelling.

Led and grew the UK edtech startup co-founded by Frank Meehan, Brent Hoberman and Founders Forum. Expanded SmartUp into Thailand, South Africa, and North Asia. Recorded S$1.5 million ARR with over 200,000 user base, with a completion rate of over 75%, in 2019.

Our client roster includes brands like Marsh, The NMG Group, Moet Hennessy, Thai Banking Academy, and the Institute of Banking & Finance.

Grew revenue through content services (a combination of custom content work and retainer services) to SmartUp's customers. Projects involve converting corporate training content into highly engaging microlearning, leveraging on quizzes and polls to collect data and give customers insights to employee learning and behaviour.

In 2013, I left magazines to set up a content agency with 3 partners, doing content and PR for lifestyle and beauty brands. Made a pivot into Edtech in 2017 building learning around digital transformation, entrepreneurship, disruptive tech, and innovation for corporate and institutional clients around the world before taking my career into FinTech and Crypto in 2020.
