Account Manager

Rackspace

I am responsible for driving new logo & new footprint opportunities in our SMB & Mid-Market/enterprise segments alike. This is achieved through both inbound & out bounding activities across a range of mediums. I am the face of Rackspace for these prospects, and the first person they engage with during initial discussions and calls, so great interpersonal skills are vital for this role. I Also help clients & prospects realise the true value of Rackspace as a leading MSP and how they can alleviate their business challenges by leveraging the full portfolios of Rackspace to create truly hybrid, dedicated & multi cloud environments.
▪ Develop & nurture leads into new opportunities utilising multiple marketing channels, Site Submission, Live Chat, Tradeshows, Events, Webinars, Marketing Campaigns.
▪ Nurture & develop ongoing relationships within SMB & Mid-Market/Enterprise businesses to raise awareness of Rackspace’s product portfolio.
▪ Account mapping – Working on existing Rackspace accounts to map out a company’s organisational structure and plan a way to get a deeper connection within the company we already manage.
▪ Besides inbound traffic, I also manage a sales funnel that consist of initiative outbounding, working with marketing and sales to generate my own leads using intent based tools.
▪ Widening my network though out the business from sales in all EMEA regions such as DACH Benelux and APAC. Besides, Sales teams I also had great affiliation with Marketing, legal, solution architects and senior leadership.
▪ Supporting Account Directors and working the full sales cycle right to close/win on opportunities up to circa £2,000 MRR.
▪ Other than creating leads and opportunities to feed sales teams around EMEA I also help train and upscale new starters joining the team

I have the ability to adapt to my audience - I can have a business lead conversation at C-Level, equally I can switch to a technical lead conversation at developer/SysAd level

Business Development Representative

As a support specialist I was the first point of contact and was expected to provide technical and non-technical support to our customers over chat, phone and via support tickets. I was responsible for managing the Rackspace International support ticket queues and first line resolution. I was also expected to display good judgment in decisions they make, creating and maintaining customer loyalty by going above and beyond the customer’s expectation
•	Escalate support requests (phone/ticket/chat) according to escalation procedures 
•	Work on “quick-fix tickets” (e.g. system resources, MyRackspace requests)
•	Manage incoming customer calls and chats
•	Basic user administration 
•	Queue management (triage & routing)
•	Ensuring we adhere to customer & SLA commitments

I worked full time during my summers of the years 2015,2016 which I thoroughly enjoyed. Therefore, I got offered to come back after my studies to continue.
 
•	Assisting analyst with audits of some of the biggest pharmaceutical companies by using Excel/PowerPoint thoroughly to make databases and presentations (Microsoft packages, package.) 
•	Working on projects where we received a large amount of numerical data; organising and preparing to represent the data on graphs and charts.
•	Gathering all individual data to create a user-friendly database, by using macros and formulas to make it efficient such as pivots. 
•	Communicating with senior management via staff emails and organised meetings.
•	Given the opportunity to coach new employees and to manage their daily tasks.

Junior Business Analyst

Working in a very busy part of the hospital, I had to ensure I worked well under pressure and produced high-quality work given my time constraints.
•	Working on hospital computers and software to input correct data, whilst reading X-ray forms to ensure the data and files are inputted into correct folders  
•	To clear backlog of work, making sure targets were met on a daily basis under time conditions.
•	Shadowing a 3rd line support engineer. Helping on completing issues with colleague’s pc’s.
•	Building pc’s, stripping pc’s to test hardware components, connecting to domains, imaging OS’s, VPN connections, antivirus installations and great use of windows active directory.

Junior Engineer

As a sales advisor, I worked in all parts of the store. This includes the customer service desk, on till point and in the stockroom/warehouse.

•	Helping customers on the shop floor with products they want to purchase. Also supporting customers using the iPad to order their products and showing them all the new features of the new system that was recently implemented
