HIGHLIGHTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS As Deputy General Manager (aka Chief Operating Officer) of the US $80 million subsidiary of a $3 Billion global multinational, • Led Fujikura America to profitability; only the second profitable year in Fujikura America’s 15 year US history. • US P&L responsibility. • Under my leadership, 1998 net operating profit was increased to $197,451 vs. 1997 net operating loss of $412,680. • Results obtained through judicious paring of non-performing SBU’s, initiation of an employee profit sharing plan, tightening of discretionary spending budgets, consolidation of customer service and accounting into one centralized location, and installation of a new ERP software. • Achieved revenue growth of 14% to ~$80,000,000. Under my leadership as CEO/Partner of 6D Laser, • Recognized in 2021 by the State of Colorado (OEDIT) with an Advanced Industries Early-Stage Capital and Retention Award of $250,000 • 2022 “Top pick” for one of the best Colorado based Laser companies to follow. As VP of Sales & Customer Service for Picolight, • Led the sales turnaround of a failing ~$9 million revenue optical transceiver company to revenue >$34 million in 6 quarters! • This contributed to acquisition by a publicly traded $Billion electronics company (JDSU, now VIAVI Solutions) for $115 million.
