I has never been particularly good at short sentences, but I have a soft spot for long stories. Southern European with a passion for France, EU, Asia and the so-called Far East. The most important lesson I have learned across 3x startups is to obsess about building the absolute best team and then empowering them. If you get that right, almost everything else works out. I've won many hats in my career as manager, marketer and strategist. As a result, I have a unique ability to manage multi-disciplinary projects and teams, and to navigate complex communities and challenges. But actual experience has taught me that my professional value boils down to the following: ► I've been directing development of business since the late 80s (oh yes!) whether it be a foray in the fashion or electronics or PI-product identification or in a well-known international organization. ► I am a multi-linguist of technology-driven business (I speak fluent English, French and Spanish, including fluent geek), marketer, trainer, salesperson, and difficult client. Understanding means fewer missteps, and missteps cost a fortune. ► Lots of people have Big ideas. Execution is what matters. ► Inexplicably, I'm the calm one but I run toward fires.
