Responsible for Server administration, Active Directory administration, PC installation, administration and support, End User support, printer administration and set up. Mitel 3300 phone system, administration and support. iPhone support, full support to remote users / field workers and remote sites across the UK. Administration and support for Motorola hand held scanners. Full technical support given to other European Pandora sites.

Duties included: Installation and maintenance of software and hardware, installation of Windows 98, 2000, XP and 2003. Troubleshooting on the server, network, hardware and software problems. Role involved extensive travelling throughout North Yorkshire. Regular communication with school staff at all levels, and pupils to respond to their queries.  Also liaised with external organisations.

An enthusiastic, driven and experienced IT Network Engineer, with over 30 years of experience in IT networking and installation, with skills covering wide range of software and hardware. I am an excellent trouble shooter and problem solver. I am a good communicator at all levels and have an empathy with clients and candidates alike.

I have been responsible for the overseeing of a small team of technicians along with planning, installation and day to day running of WANs and LANs and purchasing of IT related equipment. I am a team player and also very capable of working on my own I initiative. I am a great believer in continuous education and willing to take part in any training offered to me.
