* As a member of the Community Advisory Group I acted as a community ambassador and shared knowledge and networks with Melbourne Museum in the interests of the promotion and success of the Open Horizons exhibition and programs.

Open Horizons Advisory Group
The Advisory Group comprised a number of Greek community and business representatives, members of the Museums Victoria team, experts in relevant fields including the Hellenic Museum and will be chaired by MP, Mr. Steve Dimopoulos.

In April 2022, an international exhibition collaboration between the National Archaeological Museum, Greece and Museums Victoria, Australia took place at Melbourne Museum in Carlton.

The exhibition collaboration, titled Open Horizons: Ancient Greek Journeys and Connections, was initiated by the Victoria Government as part of the 200th Anniversary of the Greece War of Independence in recognition of the strong and long-lasting bonds between Victoria and Greece.

The exhibition included 44 authentic ancient works dated from the Early Bronze Age to the Roman period – some of which were exhibited in Australia for the first time. A unique feature of the exhibition are large sculptural works such as a Cycladic Statuette, Marble Sphinx and Marble Kouros.

Founded in 1957 by Dimitri Gogos and published by Ethnic Publications Pty Ltd, it is Australia's largest circulation Greek community newspaper and website. It has been published in Greek as a broadsheet and as a tabloid in English and Greek on Saturday since August 2010.
Neos Kosmos has received two Multicultural Media Awards, for best print publication and a high commendation for a print article in Sydney, New South Wales, in 2014.
