Roofr

At Roofr, I’m a key member of the "CRM Core" team, where we successfully brought Roofr's CRM to market. This major initiative was pivotal in shifting Roofr’s focus from being primarily known for providing measurements to becoming a comprehensive platform that supports the full spectrum of roofing business operations.

Beyond my core responsibilities, I also participate in interviews and contribute to company-wide initiatives, such as enhancing security measures and optimizing the developer experience.

Senior Software Engineer

Productboard

At Productboard, I served as the Senior Engineer for the team responsible for bringing the "Customer Board" to life. This major feature offers a centralized platform for visualizing, organizing, and understanding customer-related data, playing a critical role in enhancing the user experience.

In this role, I was tasked with planning and estimating work, breaking down product requirements into manageable tasks, coordinating the sequencing of the development process, and writing much of the code that brought the product to fruition.

Lightspeed Commerce

During my time in the Payments organization, I played a crucial role by taking on numerous Scrum Master responsibilities, which ensured smooth team operations and efficient project delivery.

I made significant improvements to streamline the merchant onboarding process, enhancing overall efficiency.

Additionally, I successfully reduced the duration of our end-to-end test suite by up to 72%, greatly improving testing speed.

Furthermore, I researched and proposed technologies for building Lightspeed Capital, laying the groundwork for future innovations.

Software Developer

JUUL Labs

During my time at JUUL, I worked on a team dedicated to building and maintaining B2B digital storefronts that connected JUUL with some of their most important purchasers.

Some of the major initiatives I completed included leading a project to create an e-commerce storefront specifically tailored for wholesalers and another to rewrite an existing store locator feature using modern JavaScript, significantly increasing test coverage.

Additionally, I led the integration with a third-party service to fetch and display payment information in a user-friendly format.

Lighthouse Labs

At Lighthouse Labs, I periodically worked as a Mentor, taking shifts several days a week to provide students with both technical and emotional support.

During my time at Lighthouse, I engaged in various tasks, including evaluating students' mid-term assignments, constructing and presenting lessons on topics such as Test-Driven Development (TDD) and basic Agile workflows, and administering mock technical interviews.

Acquired by JUUL in 2018, I worked at Stembolt, where I helped build and maintain e-commerce websites that experienced healthy traffic.

During my time there, I introduced modern JavaScript into a project, successfully eliminating technical debt. I also integrated a third-party solution to simplify our content management processes. Additionally, I played a key role in developing highly interactive UX interfaces that handled large amounts of traffic. 

Furthermore, I assisted the team in identifying and remedying inefficiencies in site performance, ensuring our success during peak traffic times.

I worked with a small group of developers to bring requested features to life on a weekly iteration. 
My responsibilities included writing API endpoints for our mobile app to consume, developing a UX-heavy, game-like interface for building a personality profile, and improving the performance and dependability of the core algorithm that the application is based around.

I spent my internship developing an admin interface for a preexisting application.

I managed a crew of three to four workers, acting as the primary communication point between the client and the business owner. I also coordinated on-site material deliveries and arranged end-of-project material refunds.
