• Created expense monitoring processes and reports leading to the identification of multiple areas of expense waste within Payments.  Reporting was adopted and rolled out across Sage North America.

• Held a number of diverse leadership positions within the Student Loans and Auto Finance businesses segments.
• Introduced efficiency improvements in reporting functions leading to cost savings and elimination of redundant reporting (~20% direct headcount expense reduction; ~30% reduction in # reports produced).
• Built and managed business intelligence and data management functions for Student Loan business (~$11B in Assets, 6 distinct products, 7 different servicers).
• Developed holistic data strategy for the Auto Finance division including the development of a consolidated data platform ($55B in Assets, direct & indirect acquisition channels, multiple servicing platforms).
• Implemented data governance and control processes to monitor data quality as well as ensure reporting accuracy.
• Led design and execution of all direct mail campaigns for Student Loan products (Federal and Private student loans; $3B+ originations).
• Implemented geo-segmentation strategy to identify students at specific schools (30% penetration in target segments compared to 8% average).
• Directed re-building of statistical marketing models in response to a volatile legislative environment (~40% lift over average in book rate given mail).
• Developed targeting strategy for Private Consolidation pilot program, including completely new credit bureau segmentation attributes (~20% lift over average in gross response rate given mail).
• Implemented first profitability-based methodology for direct mail decisions for the Federal Consolidation product (35% of target population identified as unprofitable).
• Identified population segmentation opportunity improving efficiency and increasing bookings by $50MM annually.

• Managed all aspects of P&L forecasting for Installment Loans business unit ($5.5B in assets, $270MM+ annual revenue).  Managed the P&L to within an acceptable variance of 5% on average.
• Led major forecasting improvement initiatives resulting in the Installment Loans business being recognized as achieving the lowest percent variance across the entire company in 2003.
• Managed all direct and indirect finance functions and analysts associated with the Installment Loans business.
• Successfully quantified correlation between customer attrition and market interest rate changes leading to more insight into the primary drivers of prepayment.
 • Identified an opportunity to correct system functionality in the account-servicing platform.  Improvement drove ~$10MM in profit over 3 years.  Directed project team in the implementation.
• Managed the process of incentive payments for over 3500 associates across all internal call centers designed to enhance process performance and reduced errors and rework rate.
• Created an analytical database that provided the previously unavailable ability to do trend analysis at a variety of levels of detail.   This database was adopted in multiple areas across the company.
• Directly managed four analysts with functions including accounting, finance, and project management.
• Built and managed activity-based cost allocation model for all internal and external call centers (over $500 million annual expense).
