Technical Team Lead

Responsible for managing the entire life-cycle of diverse projects, including hardware design (electronics) and development of medical multi-sensor devices for vital data measurement and IoT Gateways for simultaneous data acquisition from multiple devices. Key tasks involved:

• Designing, simulating, testing, and debugging products and prototypes
• Creating PCB designs and layouts using Altium Designer
• Planning and procuring components, optimizing costs for PCBs and components
• Providing technical support to engineers in embedded, mechanical, DSP, and Back-End roles

Developed DSP algorithms for bio-signal representation and analysis (using MATLAB) and supported Back-End systems for signal data processing and web representation. Signals encompassed ECG, respiration, heart rate, temperature, body core temperature (BCT), movement detection, and movement pattern recognition:

• Acquiring and representing data
• Designing filters and implementing various DSP algorithms for signal processing and analysis
• Conducting signal/data QA testing against "golden standards" (reference data)

Electronics and Digital (Bio)-Signal Processing Engineer

Developed and implemented a Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) calculation algorithm on an FPGA/RTL level using VHDL, comprising three main components:

• Developing the CORDIC algorithm module
• Creating an FPGA logic-efficient FFT algorithm module
• Calculating THD based on the FFT and CORDIC modules

FPGA/Embedded Software Developer (M.Sc.)

Led a multidisciplinary team of 5 master and Ph.D. students to develop a compact, portable Time of Flight - Positron Emission Tomography device (ToF-PET) while personally overseeing the hardware development of a Gamma-Camera Readout Matrix with an FPGA as MPU.

• Developing power path management for FPGA and accompanying circuitry
• Programming state machines for generating various RF test signals using FPGA/VHDL
