Reporting directly to the Vice Provost for Enrollment Management, I provide leadership for the University of Cincinnati’s admissions policies and operations. My efforts are centered on advancing our strategic admissions and enrollment agenda, aligning with the university's 'Next Lives Here' strategic direction.

As the Assistant Vice Provost of Enrollment Management, I spearhead the strategic vision for undergraduate, graduate, and international admissions across the Blue Ash, Clermont, and Uptown Campuses. Additionally, I lead teams responsible for our transfer student center, marketing and communications, and CRM systems management, ensuring cohesive strategy and execution across all platforms.

During my time at Salesforce, I served in two key roles. Firstly, as a Senior Solutions Engineer on the higher education team, I collaborated with a diverse group to address global challenges using innovative Salesforce solutions. I conducted customer analysis, delivered tailored demos, and participated in training and certification programs to enhance my expertise.

Secondly, I led Salesforce's HBCU360 initiative, aligning internal business units for a unified HBCU engagement strategy. This involved transforming our partnerships with HBCUs and external stakeholders, such as the White House, HBCU Caucus, and industry, to focus on scaling innovation at HBCUs and recruiting and upskilling HBCU communities.

Senior Solutions Engineer

Brown University

In my previous role as Director of Enrollment Management at Brown University, one of the country’s Ivy institutions, I led the development, implementation, and assessment of the strategic enrollment management, marketing, and customer relationship management system plan. By embodying our divisional goals and staying committed to independent thinking, critical engagement, and personal responsibility, I excelled at enrolling and retaining high achieving, diverse student populations, visiting college students, and existing Brown undergraduate students. Additionally, I managed and provided strategic oversight for a team of professionals responsible for engaging and shepherding approximately 15,000 applicants and their families through each stage of the admissions and alumni lifecycle.

Under the director of our Dean, our team was responsible for hiring and supporting a diverse group of peer mentors, instructors, and staff within a fast-paced and academically rigorous environment. This included developing new concepts and focusing on growth initiatives to drive an increase in retention. I am proud to have served a prestigious organization and division dedicated to providing students with challenging, intellectual, and socially formative experiences in and outside of the classroom. As COVID-19 plagued our lives, jobs, and schools, I needed to find a new way to provide support; this included developing a marketing and system plan allowing students to enroll and participate in virtual student life opportunities.

Director of Enrollment Management

During my time at The University of Cincinnati, a comprehensive public research university, I held the role of Associate Director for Recruitment and Strategic Populations. This multifaceted role enabled me the opportunity to lend my expertise in providing strategic and fiscal oversight of a three-million-dollar budget for the Office of Undergraduate Admissions while leading a team of thirty highly trained professionals. As a visionary leader, I was tasked with overseeing the assignment of recruitment areas, target market segments, and schedules of planned recruitment. Here, I Designed, implemented and executed recruitment and outreach strategies that helped influence, inspire, and engage applicants, while boosting our enrollment status to new highs. 

In addition to that, I facilitated outreach activities, including school visits, community events, college fairs, presentations, and application reviews for 27,000 applications.  My ability to think outside the box played an instrumental role in enhancing and developing strategic initiatives and student programming to assist the University of Cincinnati with increasing incoming domestic freshmen class. Some of these successful initiatives included community outreach and partnerships, recruiting underrepresented student populations (URM), spearheading the CPS Ambassador Program, and both increasing and maintaining a solid academic profile.

Associate Director for Recruitment & Strategic Populations

Lincoln University of Missouri

As the Director of Recruitment and New Student Engagement at Lincoln University of Missouri, I was responsible for leading a team of twelve professional staff members under the direction of the Dean of Administration and Student Affairs. Here, I accelerated the growth of the university by focusing on recruiting, enrolling, and transitioning new students. Additionally, I coordinated and collaborated with departments across campus to maximize the overall enrollment management process and student services at Lincoln University. When I wasn’t hiring new staff or restructuring the Office of Recruitment, I implemented customer relationship management systems and managed federal work-study programs. On top of that, I also provided critical oversight on four budgets totaling over two million dollars, including three state and one grant funded. Before ending my chapter with Lincoln University of Missouri, I initiated and successfully executed an enrollment fee component to orientation, generating an additional $203,700 in revenue and increased undergraduate enrollment by 25%. These combined efforts led to a drastic increase in retention and a large spike in enrollments.

Director of Recruitment and New Student Engagement

Later on in my career, I took on the role of Coordinator of Orientation and New Student Services, responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight for successful and innovative orientation and transition programs at Lincoln University of Missouri. In an effort to empower student success and support personal development, I focused on welcoming, transitioning, and building a sense of belonging and community for new students and their families. As a high-energy, student-centered individual who is innovative, collaborative, proactive, and solution oriented, I fostered a welcoming and inclusive campus climate for all new students during their transition to Lincoln University of Missouri. This multitiered role enabled me the chance to collaborate with the Dean of Administration and Student Affairs to create a new program that assisted low-performing first-year students with their college transition through a summer bridge program, which retained 85% of the participants. As a result of my continued success in this role, I was later promoted to Director of Orientation.

Coordinator of Orientation and New Student Services

Marshall University

Due to my success as a Student Activities Coordinator at Marshall University, I took on the responsibilities of Minority Recruitment Coordinator focused on assisting the Director of Recruitment with implementing the new Tuition Waiver Program, which resulted in an enrollment increase for URM students. Here, I provided admissions counseling to prospective students, assisted in developing and implementing campus-wide, program-specific marketing and recruitment strategies, and contributed to the new student orientation program. In addition to that, I developed an assessment program used to track statistics, gather data, and write reports on student leadership growth year to year. My ability to forge strong relationships built on the foundations of diversity, equity, and inclusion allowed me to serve as a liaison between the Office of Recruitment, Multicultural Affairs, and the Center for African American students to collaborate and create programming for international and underrepresented populations. As a result of these collective efforts, I successfully improved retention and increased student enrollment by 30% in selective states and territories.

Minority Recruitment Coordinator

American Campus Communities

As a former Community Assistant at American Campus Communities, I leveraged my superior communication skills, academic knowledge, and people-centric nature to contract over 2 million dollars in leases and sales. In addition to that, I conducted regular audits of leases and effectively reduced the risk of contracting liabilities. My creative personality, paired with a deep passion for innovation, played a vital role in developing engaging advertising and marketing campaigns, which resulted in a 33% increase in residence occupancy. On top of that, I mediated and facilitated conflict resolution between residents by improving the quality of residence life.

College Summit, Inc

Early on in my career, I served as an Alumni Leader Coordinator at College Summit, an organization dedicated to empowering high school students in low-income districts across the U.S. Here, I coordinated and trained weekly rotating teams of college students to assist in supervising over 150 high school students. In addition to that, I facilitated financial aid and self-advocating sessions to provide students with practical strategies for locating desired scholarships. As a forward-thinking leader, I was responsible for not only managing and providing support for the alumni director but also for planning, implementing, and promoting alumni programs that supported the organization’s strategic plan.

I didn’t leave Brown University because I didn’t love the work.
I left because of the additional duties assigned.

Here’s what I learned from that moment that changed my career forever:

1️⃣ Pay attention to what keeps showing up in your “additional duties assigned” box. That’s often your actual zone of genius.

2️⃣ Digital transformations lived in that box for me. For years. Every org I worked for, tech would end up in my portfolio. 

3️⃣ Brown sent me to a Salesforce Admin course. That’s where it clicked. It wasn’t just a platform of change. It opened a world of the art of the possible.

4️⃣ I realized I didn’t want to keep leading digital transformations for free and part time. I wanted to build a career around it, technology, marketing and engagement.

For most of my career, I did what we’re taught to do:

Work hard. Be excellent. Stay loyal. Climb the ladder.

And it worked.
I loved the missions.
I loved my teams.
I love driving meaningful impact.

Then exposure shifted everything.

During my transition to Brown and Salesforce, I stepped into rooms that expanded how I thought about career, access, and freedom — not instead of purpose, but alongside it.

That’s when I first saw the invisible economy:
a world where your skills, relationships, and timing become levers for possibility, not just survival.

Here’s what I realized, step by step:

1️⃣ Your career is bigger than your job title. Your skills don’t belong to an industry, they belong to you.

2️⃣ Access accelerates belief. The rooms you enter expand or shrink your imagination.

3️⃣ Purpose and opportunity aren’t rivals.
You don’t have to choose impact OR income.
You can build both.

4️⃣ Comfort is expensive.
You can stay where you feel safe and still outgrow the container.

5️⃣ The pivot starts long before the leap.
It begins when you start asking different questions and stepping into different rooms.
